What a blast. Our year end parties are always a great time to hob nob and catch up with friends. The regular monthly events are sometimes short, and let’s be real, we could all use a little more socializing in our lives. That’s what we were looking for in our event to cap the year off. Sara Tava and the awesome team at Lululemon in Newport Beach (located at Fashion Island in a brand new space) were amazing hosts. They opened up their venue, decking out the courtyard with garden lights, high top tables, a s’mores station, food by Sessions West Coast Deli, an open bar, and a stage. Marcus Omari laid down some incredible spoken word poetry and Pawn Shop Kings followed up with a boot stomping set. We’re so happy you all came out and had a good time!
The Lululemon team came up with a great interactive way to show the whole purpose of Connecting Things: a board where you could pin up your photo (taken on a polaroid), then tie string between your photo and everyone you knew and met at the event. Here’s some photos from the night by our talented friends Scott Snyder and Dario Garcia! If you repost to your social be sure to give him photo credit and tag him (@makinglines on Instagram).
