September at Open House Creative in Costa Mesa, Noah Elias joined Connecting Things SoCal to talk about finding meaning and balance in both work and personal time.
“How many people are still in my life as a result of what I’m doing for a living?” Noah posed some good questions to the packed house.
Having had a diverse creative career working with everyone from Disney to Toyota to Levi’s, Noah encouraged creatives to diversify their lines in the water so they don’t leave all their sense of value reliant upon one client or even upon work itself. The true currency of meaningful work interactions is relationships with people, not money. Watch the video to see the full talk.
Join us next month for Connecting Things, which happens every first Wednesday of the month at different locations across Orange County. Follow Connecting Things on Twitter (@weconnectthings) and Instagram (@connectingthings.co) for more info.
